Conference on Genocides and Memories

Highly informative event organized by my colleagues Dina Khapaeva and Nikolay Koposov, and co-sponsored by Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Georga Gwinnett, and Emory, elucidating the history and contemporary issues related to Russia's War against Ukraine from a comparative perspective. I was glad to be able to welcome Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Anne Applebaum who delivered the keynote (which was excellent).
