And so I noticed with great pleasure that Georgia Tech recently created its own alternative to the December 8 Miss Universe pageant 'performed' in Atlanta. And because our faculty, staff, and students are among to top 'performers' at Georgia Tech, LMC's very own Susana Morris is one of the SEVEN women in a feature meant to represent the hundreds of women at Georgia Tech who crunch numbers on whiteboards, build spacecraft, run computer simulations, develop international policy, and explore how human experiences in space are reimagined through science fiction. I must say that, had I had a copy of Susana's picture in the feature ahead of time, I would have used it as a departmental greeting card this year. It's a real Gesamtkunstwerk!
