Lecturer in Video Production position in LMC, Georgia Tech


The School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC) of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, Georgia) seeks to fill a non-tenure-track Lecturer position in Film and Television Production, with a specialization in post-production techniques effective August 1, 2021. Applicant should demonstrate creative and technical expertise, as well as a strong commitment to offering new courses that support our growing film and media courses as part of LMC's vibrant undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The candidate will teach classes focused on post-production, including but not limited to 3D animated filmmaking, sound design, AR/VR filmmaking, immersive filmmaking, compositing, VFX, and advanced editing. While post-production experience is the primary focus, the candidate will also be expected to teach Intro to Video Production. The ideal candidate is an experienced editor who can integrate theoretical and practical approaches to post-production through hands-on techniques and forms. They should have experience in and a commitment to teaching both introductory and advanced post-production courses. The typical teaching load is 3/3. For full info on the position, please see HERE.
