Joining an audience of students, faculty, and external visitors in a screening of Making Pandemics, a documentary that demonstrates the intimate links between the lack of biological diversity and the emergence of pandemics. The event was part of the 2023 Global Media Festival, which has a focus on sustainability, one of the top priorities in the School of Modern Languages and in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
French actress Juliette Binoche collaborated with the documentary makers and scientists to help them drum up attention for the topic of sustainability.
